Admission Requirements

Admission to MS(SCM) program requires a four-year undergraduate degree in management, engineering, basic sciences, technology, or any other technical / professional area. Applicants without relevant background in management and quantitative methodsmay have to take additional courses to compensate for this deficiency.

Note: For admission purposes, a Masters degree along with a two-year Bachelors degree is considered equivalent to a four year undergraduate degree.

The admission process includes assessment of the applicant through a UMT written test, followed by an interview session with the faculty of Department of Operations & Supply Chain.

Curriculum Structure

The MS(SCM) degree requires completion of 30 credit hours, and offers two tracks:

  1. THESIS Option (suitable for participants aspiring careers in universities and research based organizations) requiring 24 credit hours of course work, plus 6 credit hours of Thesis
  2. NON-THESIS Option (suitable for careers in industry) requiring 30 credit hours of course work
