Dr. Anjum Zia is a distinguished media education leader with 35 years of teaching experience and a long record of academic administration as Dean, Chairperson, and program head. Her impact as a teacher and trainer is reflected in the academic programs she has launched—BS, MS, and PhD degrees, as well as high-tech skill courses in digital media, filmmaking, journalism, and communication. She has a deep footprint in hands-on media training through the establishment and management of TV studios, FM radio, production labs, and editing facilities, enabling students to learn in real broadcast environments. She has supervised hundreds of research projects and regularly contributes to faculty development, teaching-learning workshops, and national training initiatives such as NAVTTC’s “Skills for All” program.
Dr. Savera Mujib Shami is a dynamic digital media scholar and national-level trainer with extensive experience teaching at the University of the Punjab and working as an editorial writer in mainstream media. Her portfolio spans UNESCO, PIPS, OsloMet University, and USAID/USEFP, where she has designed and delivered capacity-building programs for policymakers, legislators, faculty members, journalists, and media professionals. She specializes in media literacy, digital safety, technology-enabled teaching, peace journalism, and the social impact of digital media. As Chairperson of Digital Media, she has led curriculum innovation and integrated practical digital skills into academic training. Known for translating complex media and policy issues into accessible training modules, she is a high-impact educator whose work strengthens both academic institutions and national discourse.
