Internationalization is one of the main focus areas at HSM. Internationalization prepares graduates with cross cultural consciousness and international competencies to succeed in an increasingly internationalized and competitive business world. The Office of Internationalization (OIN) at UMT plays a key role in this regard.
Our International Partners
Bilateral agreements are signed for the international mobility of students and faculty with Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) Chicago USA, USAK University Turkey, Tianjin Polytechnic University (TJPU) China, Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) China, Istanbul Aydin University (IAU) Turkey and University of Nottingham (UoN) Malaysia.
Students attend a complete semester at the foreign host university for a period of 4-5 months. The tuition fee at the host university is waived off. HSM undergraduate students enrolled in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semester and graduate students enrolled in the 2nd semester can avail the opportunity.
HSM students are offered the chance to attend a course in a partner host university in either summer or winter for a period of 2 weeks. This opens up new vistas of learning from globally acknowdeged experts and allows students to gain immense knowledge through interactions with global peers. Recreational trips/industry trips are taken care of by the host university.
