Call for Submissions

Dr. Hasan Murad School of Management (HSM), University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan is organizing the HSM Doctoral Conference on March 2-3, 2023. The conference aims at capacity building of Ph.D. and MS students to align their research with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This objective of the conference will be achieved by providing a platform for Ph.D. and MS students to present their working/research papers. Moreover, panel discussions, training workshops, and editors’ meet-up will be organized to foster the conference agenda. This is a unique opportunity for doctoral and MS students to enrich their research ideas in light of the feedback received from subject experts of different universities. This conference serves as a stepping stone for Ph.D. and MS students to interact and learn firsthand from editors of HEC-recognized journals regarding getting published.

The HSM Doctoral Conference 2023 invites the Ph.D. and MS students to submit their abstracts for possible presentation in the following subject areas:

Management
Human Resource Management
Economics
Finance
Marketing
Statistics
Supply Chain Management
Information Systems Management
Islamic Banking and Finance

The abstracts of working/research papers can be submitted to [email protected] on or before 30 January 2023. (Abstracts sent to any other email address will not be considered)

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The abstracts of working/research papers must comply with the following conditions for consideration:

MS Word file formatted as per APA 7.0 guidelines
Title
Name of author (must be a doctoral student), affiliation, email address, and mobile number
Name of co-author (supervisor), affiliation, and official email address
Abstract body text (200 – 500 words)
Keywords (3-5 keywords)
Author’s declaration (stating originality, no plagiarism, and any conflict of interest)
Email to [email protected] only (Please do not send or copy your abstract to anyone except your co-authors)

January 30, 2023 – Abstract/Paper Submission

February 15, 2023 – Registration Deadline (for Presenters)

February 20, 2023 – Registration Deadline (for Participants)

March 2 – 3, 2023 – Conference

CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

Following online workshops (3 hours each) can be separately registered by the participants:

REGISTRATION FEE

Participants and Presenters = Rs. 5,000 (Excluding Workshops)
- 20% discount for the group of 2 or more from same institution
- Workshop (Online) = Rs. 1,000 each
