ORANET Workshop - Review
A workshop on “Impact of ORACLE Future Technologies” was conducted on December 16, 2013 at UMT, in the Seminar Room, as collaborated effort of ORANET and Department of Information Systems, HSM.
Mr. Shahid Aslam, Head ORANET Training & Solutions shared information about ORACLE Enterprise System Applications its market presence and career details. He advised participants that they should plan their careers ahead of their exposure to market. He shared comparison of ORACLE and its prime competitors suggesting ORACLE has gone way beyond by expanding in multiple directions from Database, Middleware platforms and Application. He also elaborated ORACLE E-Business Suite modules and its certification tracks such as in Financials, HR Management, Customer relationship management, Supply chain management etc. The workshop was attended by Faculty members of Information System Department, HSM and large gathering of MBA, BBA and BBIS participants who contributed well in the question answering session.
