Afia Mushtaq has almost thirteen years of work experience in teaching and research projects. She has completed her Master’s degree from International Islamic University Islamabad and currently enrolled in MS Islamic Banking and Finance at UMT. Her major areas of interest include: Islamic Economics, and Development Economics .She has been working as member of quality assessment team and has organized various Arts Exhibitions for students. She has gained professional exposure from number of workshops and international conferences like: Workshop on Qualitative Research Methodology, organized by Population Council; International Workshop on Sanitary & Phytosanitory Measures in the Wake of Trade Liberalization; Challenges to Agriculture in Developing Countries, Workshop on Faith & Development organized by Birmingham University UK, Department of International Development and International Islamic University Islamabad; International conference on Trade Liberalization and SAFTA: Opportunities, Concerns and Challenges. In parallel to her teaching related to the field of Economics; she is also managing the student community in the Economics Club.
