Dr. Irem Batool has recently joined as an Associate Professor of Economics, the Department of Economics and Statistics at UMT Lahore. She has completed her postdoc research at Economics Department, Purdue University United States in Year 2020. Previously she worked with State Bank of Pakistan at Karachi and COMSATS University Islamabad, at Sahiwal Campus. During her stay at SBP, she has performed various important assignments like “Development of Macro Model of Pakistan Economy”, “Estimation of Quarterly Gross Fixed Capital Formation Series” and Estimation of Various Inflation Forecasting Models etc. Besides she has also worked on IMF framework Forecasting method based upon the Financial Programming and Policies.
