Brief Profile
Dr. M. M. Shah Khan has up to 25 years of experience in Teaching and Research in Banking, Finance, and Economics. His corporate experience includes employment, directorship, and advisory to national and international education and research and development organizations. He was the founding director of the Institute of Islamic Banking (IIB) for 4 years from 2012 to 2016. He has conducted more than 50 MS/PhD theses in Banking and Finance. He has also launched over 8-degree programs including BS, MS, and Ph.D. programs. He has also been the founding Editor in chief of an academic journal named "Islamic Banking and Finance Review" with the HEC “Y” category. He has supervised/organized various Global Forums, International/national conferences, workshops, and seminars on Banking and Finance. He has led various development projects in Banking and Finance, particularly in IBF. He has made various visits/presentations to universities e.g. Harvard, MIT, Yale, UCLA, UNLV, UIC.
