Introduction

Saqib Farid is a distinguished academic and researcher with a strong background in finance, financial economics, and financial markets. He holds extensive experience as a Lecturer at the Dr. Hassan School of Management, UMT Lahore. Farid’s research has been recognized globally, earning prestigious awards such as the Venture Finance SIG Best Paper Award at the USASBE Conference and the Best Paper Award at the SME International Conference. His work has featured in top-tier journals such as Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Economic modelling, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, International Review of Economics and Finance and International Journal of Economics and Finance. As an Associate Editor for the Journal of Finance and Accounting Research and a Section Editor for PLOS ONE, he actively shapes the discourse in his fields of interest. With multiple teaching engagements across MS Finance, MBA, and BSAF programs, he continues to inspire the next generation of financial experts, and continues to influence both academic and corporate spheres.
