Introduction

A flagship program of the Dr Hasan Murad School of Management (HSM) at UMT, this full-time MBA program transforms you into an ethical leader and strategic thinker with a global, inclusive mindset. It prepares you to navigate change and equips you with interdisciplinary knowledge. Participants have a myriad of market-driven specialization streams to choose from, including Gen Al & Data Science, Al Management, Tech Management, Project Management, Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Supply Chain Management. This is critical to aligning interests with contemporary Industry needs, Additionally, practitioner-led electives offered on weekends provide hands-on learning and real-world exposure.

HSM offers MBA program for both business and non-business graduates. The 1.5 years MBA program is for participants with a four-year, business-related undergraduate degree and is offered in both morning and evening. The 2 years MBA Program is specially designed for participants with a four-year, non-business-related undergraduate degree. This program is offered in the evening only and is particularly beneficial for those participants who are already employed and aspire to enhance their career prospects.

Assurance of Learning (AoL)

The MBA program follows a structured Assurance of Learning (AoL) system to assess whether students achieve program learning outcomes in key competencies, including analytical reasoning, communication, strategic thinking, leadership, and applied business knowledge.

Recent assessment results indicate strong performance in analytical capabilities and applied business knowledge. Areas identified for improvement—such as strategic analysis and teamwork—have led to targeted curriculum enhancements, including refined case-based assignments and improved teamwork evaluation rubrics.

This continuous feedback mechanism ensures that the program remains aligned with industry expectations and evolving business challenges.

Accreditation & Quality Assurance

The MBA program at Dr Hasan Murad School of Management is accredited by the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) and aligned with the South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS) standards.

As part of its continuous improvement journey, the program is also undergoing accreditation review with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) to further strengthen its global academic standing.
